Farewell to President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama

My goodness, I miss President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama!!! It simply doesn't get any better than these two! They represented so much and on so many levels, that they became large than life. The Obamas, without doubt, are the classiest, most professionally accomplished, astute, focused, centered, diplomatic, family-oriented, loving, compassionate First Couple of my lifetime. They showed America what most African -American families consist of, not the perpetuated myths of broken families led by uneducated single mothers. And if that is your story, certainly the Obamas have set an example that you can now look up to and do better.

The Obamas faced the worst of the worst in terms of disrespect, but yet they remained graceful and poised and never ever stooped so low as to attack their attackers. They were much too busy running this country. I am glad that these eight (8) years have come to a peaceful end. The Obamas can now take their rightful place in American history and make the rest of their life the BEST of their life.

This First Family has forever left a footprint in my life and because of the examples that they have set and the manner in which they have lived their public lives, I have become a better person having experienced this President's leadership during my lifetime.
