My Last Day At ICE...

I'd waited for this day for what seemed like an eternity, and it finally arrived and it was everything I hoped it would be. Those who took the time to get to know me, knew of the impact my presence in the office made and the impact of my leaving. I was showered with enough love and well wishes to last me a lifetime. When you have everyone from the cafe chef, the cafe cashiers to the parking attendants to the security guards to employees in other states and those right in your office reaching out to tell you how much you have inspired them, how much they will miss your smile, your warmth, your sincerity and your friendship, then you know that you are the kind of person that has indeed left a legacy and an impression that will not be soon forgotten. The love, support and admiration put my soul at ease, and made it easier to say good bye, because I left on such a good note with those who meant something to me as well. Good bye ICE.
